Purpose: The curriculum is primarily designed for students who wish to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a baccalaureate degree in Computer Science; the curriculum emphasizes the study of the science of computing and the use of computing in a scientific setting. Upon completion of the program, students will have obtained the basic knowledge and skills that will enable them to understand the underlying structure of computers and how to implement processes.

Admission Requirements: All students must demonstrate college readiness through transcript review or informed self-placement. Based on this review, students may request or be required to enroll in prerequisite or corequisite math and/or English courses.
