Welcome to Germanna Community College!

We believe in you–in your value as a human being with much to contribute to our region!
We take great pride in helping students like you find your way to living their best lives, succeeding in fulfilling and rewarding careers, and making a difference in our community. That help may include anything from financial aid to placing students in internships to tutoring to assistance with basic needs like food. We offer virtual, in-person and hybrid education to go to school on your schedule. We also provide free, 24-7, virtual mental health care.
Thank you for trusting us to support developing your potential. Our small, in-person, or remote class sizes allow our expert faculty to provide the personal attention you need. We hope you will take advantage of our outstanding teaching, ACE Tutoring Center, counselors, and advisors as well as the Veterans’ Center.
We offer over 30 programs in transfer and career and technical areas of study online and at our Fredericksburg Area Campus in Spotsylvania, Locust Grove Campus in Orange, the new Barbara J. Fried and Kevin L. Dillard Buildings in Stafford, Culpeper Daniel Technology Center, and at FredCAT in Central Park. The new, expanded center in Stafford County is expected to open in North Stafford in October 2024 with an emphasis on nursing and health care, and on cybersecurity.
