				Purpose: The associate of science curriculum in engineering is designed for those who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a baccalaureate degree program in engineering. The student is responsible for determining transferability to the transfer institution. 
Admission Requirements: All students will be required to demonstrate college readiness through assessment and/or transcript review and may be required to take placement tests in math, writing, and reading to aid in placing students in the appropriate courses.

		Engineering Curriculum: (Mechanical Concentration) Degree Requirements:
 Health/Physical Education
  - Any HLT or PED course(s) 1
   Social Sciences
  - Any course from ECO2, PLS, PSY3, or SOC AND any course from ECO2, GEO, HIS, PLS, PSY3, SOC
   Total Minimum Credits: 68
 Note: HLT 143 , HLT 250 , HLT 261 , HLT 262 , HLT 263 , and HLT 290  DO NOT meet HLT/PE requirement  1 Veterans may be awarded credit for military experience to meet this requirement.  2 ECO 120  and ECO 201 -ECO 202  contain similar course content. Students who take ECO 120  cannot receive credit for either ECO 201  or ECO 202 . Students who take either ECO 201  or ECO 202  cannot receive credit for ECO 120 .  3 Students cannot receive credit for both PSY 235  and PSY 230 .  Students graduating from this program may be called upon to participate in a general education outcomes assessment during their last semester.  													 |
