BIO 141: Human Anatomy and Physiology I (4 cr.)
Integrates anatomy and physiology of cells, tissues, organs, and systems of the human body. Integrates concepts of chemistry, physics, and pathology. Part I of II.
Prerequisites for BIO 141: ENG 111 eligible and BIO 101 (or BIO 101 equivalence), OR for Allied Health students only: ENG 111 eligible and two units of college prep high school science with a grade of “C” or better within the last 5 years, OR permission of department or instructor. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 2-3 hours. Total 5-6 hours per week.
