HLT 261: Basic Pharmacy I

Explores the basics of general pharmacy, reading prescriptions, symbols, packages, pharmacy calculations. Teaches measuring compounds of drugs, dosage forms, drug laws, and drug classifications.

Co-requisite: HLT 250 and HLT 262 and HLT 263.
Lecture 3 hours per week.
