Students will earn the Health Science AS degree when completing this advising pathway. This program prepares students for entry into a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. This curriculum incorporates the general education courses required by most BSN programs. Students completing this degree may fall into one of the following categories.
- When taken concurrently with the Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Nursing degree at Germanna, students in this curriculum can complete the first three years of an RN to BSN program before transfer
- This curriculum may also provide a program of study for students preparing to apply to the Associate in Applied Science in Nursing program at Germanna.
- Additionally, this program provides registered nurses interested in pursuing RN-BSN programs at four-year colleges or universities an opportunity to complete most general education courses before transferring.
Students should consult with an advisor to determine if their chosen transfer institution accepts online labs for credit toward major requirements.
