EMS 163: Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)

Credits: 1

Prepares for certification as a Prehospital Trauma Life Support provider as defined by the American College of Surgeons.

Prerequisite(s): Nationally Registered EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic or Virginia Certified EMT, AEMT, Intermediate, or Paramedic or Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practicioner, or Physician.
Lecture Hours: 1 hr. per week
